The Lakeshore Chess November Quads will take place on November 20 2021. Space is limited to 24 people (6 Quads). Must pre-register to guarantee spot by registering at lakeshorechess.com. With round robin tournaments like Quads, withdrawals are very problematic for both players and organizers. Please only play if you can play all three rounds. If the number of players can not split evenly into Quads, the six players with the lowest ratings will be asked to play in a three round swiss tournament with the same format.

Time control will be G/90+30 (that's increments, not delay.) By filling out this form and paying the registration fee, you secure your spot. Entry fee is $30 by 11/6, $40 from 11/6-11/12, $50 until 11/20.

USCF & FIDE Rated Quads (a section/player will only be FIDE rated if it meets FIDE requirements.)

4 players per section

Our goal is to minimize the rating spread in each section to 200 points. This is not a guarantee, but players can now see the registered player list from day one, so the playing field should come as no surprise. There is no playing up, and the quad groups will be made strictly based on rating.

COVID Precautions

Masks required during play along with either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test from within 72 hours.

If further restrictions are put in place, we will reschedule the tournament with full refunds offered to anyone that can't make the rescheduled time.
